Position Overview:
As a Member succesS Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, driving membership sales, and ensuring that the gym is clean, organized, and well-maintained. Your role will involve interacting with current and prospective members, assisting with inquiries and membership sign-ups, promoting gym services, and helping maintain a safe and pleasant environment through regular cleaning and facility upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet, assist, and provide excellent customer service to members and prospective Members. Address member inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally. Process membership registrations, cancellations, and renewals. Answer phone calls and emails, providing accurate information about membership options, programs, and services. Sales & Membership Growth: Actively promote and sell gym memberships, groupx classes, and additional services. Conduct tours of the gym, highlighting our facilities, classes, and value-added offerings. Achieve and exceed sales targets and membership growth goals through proactive lead generation, follow-ups, and conversions. Assist with promotional campaigns and events designed to increase membership sign-ups and engagement. Facility Cleaning & Maintenance: Ensure the gym floor, restrooms, locker rooms, and other areas are clean, organized, and ready for use at all times. Perform daily cleaning duties, including wiping down equipment, mopping floors, and restocking supplies. Maintain a clean and sanitized front desk area to create a welcoming environment for members and visitors. Retention & Member Engagement: Foster strong relationships with members to promote loyalty and retention. Conduct follow-up calls to check on member satisfaction, promote services, and encourage engagement with gym programs. Promote and encourage participation in gym events, classes, and challenges. Ensure that members feel valued and are consistently provided with high-quality service. General Administrative Support: Process payments and manage member accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. Assist with scheduling, booking groupx classes, and coordinating gym events. Maintain detailed records of sales, memberships, and cleaning tasks for reporting and operational purposes.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in customer service, sales, or the fitness/wellness industry is preferred. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals and performance metrics. Skills & Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to engage with people in a friendly, professional, and positive manner. Sales-driven with the ability to meet or exceed performance goals. Highly organized with excellent multitasking and time management skills. Ability to perform physical tasks related to cleaning, including lifting, bending, and moving equipment. Personal Attributes: Passionate about fitness and creating a positive, welcoming environment for all members. Self-motivated, proactive, and a team player. Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility. Flexible and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
